Eveleigh Market Through My Eyes!

What can I say! I love these markets, today I ventured in with my cousin and we made the 1 hour trip in, although there are local markets around the area I come from, nothing beats the atmosphere of Eveleigh markets.
Today my blog will be a simple visual display of the yumminess that Eveleigh Markets is!

"Eveleigh Market is an award-winning authentic Farmers’ Market held every Saturday from 8am to 1pm in the city of Sydney.

Every Saturday, local NSW based farmers and artisan food producers bring their fresh and seasonal produce they grow, rear and make direct to the Market for the community.

The Market is home to over 70 regular stallholders who sell a wide range of farm fresh products, from source to hub, for all your weekly grocery needs. Every Saturday, foodie lovers can find a variety of goods including seasonal fruit and vegetables; organic produce; beef; lamb; pork; poultry; dairy; artisan bread; smoked fish; olive oil; boutique wine; breakfast from celebrated chefs, and gourmet fare from dips to chutneys to sweet and savoury treats.

Each week the heritage listed Blacksmith’s Workshop is transformed into a meeting hub where the community gather to share stories, learn about the journey of food direct from the source and enjoy delicious fare, coffee, treats, samples and fresh produce direct from the maker to you!"

KitchenAid Platinum Collection Launch

I was lucky enough to be invited to the KitchenAid Platinum Collection Launch. I was excited as I am a newbie on the blogging scene – I actually had to call up to see if I was invited by mistake, I was reassured that the invite had been sent to the right person!

The history of the iconic KitchenAid stand mixer began with a chance encounter between an overburdened baker and an industrious engineer. The year was 1908, and Herbert Johnston, an engineer at the Hobart Manufacturing Company in Troy, Ohio, was watching the baker mix bread dough with an age-old iron spoon. Convinced there had to be a better way, Johnston set to work developing an 80-quart electric stand mixer. Less than seven years later, professional bakers across the country had an easier and more efficient way of getting the job done.

KitchenAid Platinum Collection includes a Stand Mixer in eight new colour
The new premium on both the Stand Mixer and Blender, plus Sugar Pearl Silver, Café Latte and Antique Copper finishes on the Stand Mixer.

The Platinum Collection Stand Mixer also features:
  • Clear glass bowl replacing the traditional stainless steel bowl
  • A new Flex Edge Beater
  • Flat beater
  • Stainless Steel wire whisk
  • Dough hook
The KitchenAid Platinum Collection features a two coat premium metallic finish in Candy Apple, Raspberry Ice, Medallion Silver, Black Storm, and Electric Blue finishes, a Blender in five new colour finishes and a Coffee Maker in Contour Silver. The collection will be available from 1 November.

Please find below pictures from the launch taken by me :-)
